So I guess my Avatar is offensive too. It's either is making fun of people that believe they exist or it's does it confirm that the DO exist? I thought that was one of them Sellfie Pic's all this time.

I'm offended that someone would call a photo of a woman in a bathing suit "filth".

Didn't know about the a avatars setting either. I have turned them off now as well. As much as I hear on this site about getting kids involved with hunting and it is a good thing. I believe it is a good thing to have a site for a young person to read about hunting without the garbage that sometimes shows up. I agree that most of it can sometimes be seen in public but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. Heck I grew up at the hunting club watching the old men play cards drink cuss and tell dirty jokes and I grew up fairly decent. When I was 8-10 we would go to my cousins club and me and his son would look at playboys in the trailer while our dad's weren't paying attention. You ain't lying..When i was young several of the guys from the club including my great uncle..Use to bring several suits of clothes where they could go catting around

dang censorship. What is this the 1950's or something. If your worried this might corrupt young minds. If that's the case I would keep them off the internet,Period. How come when folks dont agree with something. They try to make everyone else conform to there beliefs?

You posted a photo on here, which has been re-posted a couple of times, of her in front of a mirror in bra-panties or some kind of flimsy swimsuit, but she gets bent if she sees you looking at something else on here or sees it herself?

There are some real thinkers on here. Its amazing the reasoning abilities some of you have. I clearly stated in my original post that I wasn't trying establish a right and wrong or force anything on anyone. I stated there was a rule that is standing that I think should be enforced. This is not an argument or post for a new rule or a post to tell you how you should live and what you should do. Who has been trying to enforce their beliefs on someone??? Asking for rules to be enforced is forcing someones beliefs on others??? Then you have those saying if people don't like the way it is then you should just leave. Really??? Those who are abiding by the rules and want to see the rules enforced should leave if the stuff others are doing bothers them when they are the ones breaking the rules??? Great way of looking at things. Anyone care to share what The Bible says about whining or grumbling?? Here you go. If you think that requesting rules to be enforced over something like this falls under what is being talked about you're badly mistaken. Phillipians 2 14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

I agree somewhat with Ruger 300, but Im not easily offended or I couldn't keep the company I do. If I do think something is off color of a little too far I just ignore it. It is the internet, after all.

Not that any of you asked, but here is my take on this thread:
I find it sad that when a man who shares his desire for a great website forum to abide by its own rules of having a clean, ethical, family-friendly atmosphere, he then gets blasted, mocked, scoffed at and ridiculed.
But I'm not shocked by that response either. It is a common occurrence for the mocking, scoffing and ridicule to come from some. I'm not talking about a difference of opinion here. I'm talking about the aggressiveness and defensiveness that rises up when a person speaks up wishing for a higher standards based on God's standard.
Why is that? Why is there such an aggressive and negative and defensive response to something like Ghost Rabbit posted? Might be worth investigating for some. I have my views on the matter, which I'll keep to myself.
Aldeer is a cross-section of the general population. Impossible to sanitize it. There are some great uplifting posts, funny stories, great information mixed right in with a bunch of trash. Has been this way for as long as I've been around (2005). For those of us who prefer not to dwell in the sexual stuff, we have the ability as adults to discern what is proper for us to look at. For those of us who prefer to have anything goes on the forum, they have that same ability. Much like the decisions we all make in everyday life.
One thing for certain, Aldeer is not really a family-friendly website in the General Forum. It is what it is. If one is intentionally trying to avoid certain types of content in the General Forum or trying to not let their kids be negatively influenced, one has to be careful what they open and read/view. I come across stuff all the time that I have no desire to participate in, so I just move on to something else. I'm a grown man with at least a smidgen of wisdom, discernment and maturity and I can make these decisions. With that said, I wouldn't mind seeing less of the sexual posts.
I've lived both sides of this on Aldeer. I've posted up tons of sexually graphic and/or inappropriate things in my early days on Aldeer. But God began to work on me about the same time, and today I don't desire to be around that. Why? God calls us (me) to strive and desire and to pursue things that are pure, good, noble, honorable, right and holy. My desire and my passion is to be reserved for my wife alone and to do my best to have a life that is pleasing and acceptable to my Lord. I can openly admit I fall short very often. Hot women in skimpy clothes leaving very little to the imagination...ain't no way that isn't sexually explicit. It will fire up a red-blooded male. I'm not immune and this is an area that I find it very easy to get off track.
If that stuff cranks your tractor, then so be it. Justify it how you wish. But a request to adhere to the rules of the forum, that state to minimize that, isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Some of y'all might see this as a religious zealot trying to control you and that has got you firing back. But I don't think that is what Ghost Rabbit was trying to do.
My opinion, my 2 cents. Your mileage may vary.
"The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8

I clearly stated in my original post that I wasn't trying establish a right and wrong or force anything on anyone. I stated there was a rule that is standing that I think should be enforced.... Problem is.... Ain't no rule been broken.... Your definition of sexually oriented obviously differs from others.... A bathing suit pic is not sexually oriented.... Now if she was to do blank blank blank ....well nevermind.... I don't want you going off on another tangent that doesn't exist either....

I haven't been offended by any of the things that happen here because I'm just a dumbass country boy, but I can see where Rabbit is coming from. It's either a rule or it aint. Enforcing rules selectively is what Obama is doing with our border, There is a difference between a rule and a law. Rules are personal. This board is run by the people that own it. They can establish, enforce or ignore whatever rules they want. It's just like at your house you can say folks can't sit in your favorite chair but choose to ignore it when a guest comes over or your kid is plopped down. Laws are established by due process and there is enforcement by government. If the members owned this site and voted to establish rules it might be different. I'm still trying to get a refund on my last 10 years of membership dues so I'll recuse myself.
