Common sense would tell you, the guy was doing his best to follow the law, but they'll write him the same ticket as some sorry SOB, that doesn't even try to follow the law. We had killed a couple of rabbits, when the game warden drove up. We could see him coming for a mile. He checked the guy with the dog, and found an old green paper hulled shell, that had gotten stuck in a hole in his jacket. Wrote him a ticket for: Illegal ammo, deer hunting out of season, and deer hunting without a permit. What an arrogant prick. We could see the ticket for illegal ammo, but with 2 dead rabbits, deer hunting out of season? How do you get a permit, when the season is closed? We even told the GW, we saw you coming 10 minutes before you got here. I would have scared to have shot that shell.
