if a GW believes that it directly caused a deer to be within range of you, that they can get you for baiting no matter how far away it is. Wouldn't that totally defeat the purpose of the 100 yard rule.... I mean..isn't the point of corn to get the deer "within range".... according to the law, I think the "purpose" of allowing it at all was for "supplemental feeding". that's why in the regulation books, they are careful to note that "baiting is still illegal" I could be wrong though...you'd have to have one of our GW members clarify. I understand what you're saying.... It's just a stupid rule/law whatever they wanna call it... I put corn out to draw the deer in and try and keep em close.... I don't care what nutritional value it has... It brings the deer in... The only the supplemental value it has... Is that it supplements my dinner table with the rest of the veggies...
