I'm nestled on a hard wood ridge. Missed a doe yesterday evening and hope to even the score this morning. Yesterday was my first miss in quiet a whole but I guess if I hunt long enough it won't be my last!

I'm right in the middle of a white oak flat. Covered up with tree rats.

Nope, it's the G2 ground blind. Hard to beat the luxury and price of the Chinese privot blind tho

Buddy of mine is hunting hardwoods this morning on the same property as me. Well we showed up this morning and the gate leading to his section was closed (the gates are never closed) and come to find out, the farmer decided to move his cows to this tract of land yesterday. So far my buddy has seen 35 angus heifers, 10 calves, and a shooter angus bull

Settled in the hardwoods with a 6yr old cutover about 100yds away. Seen one so far out of range

Had two small bucks feed right under me at 650 been a good morning so far

On a hardwood ridge halfway between a cutover and a creek in Pickens County. Already had a lone deer that weighed about 85# feed by me within range. It being a lone deer that size I wasn't 100% sure it was a doe.

Good luck guys. The only deer ive had inside of 40yds i was brushed into a cane thicket on the ground Thursday.

I'm playing on here with y'all and hear something to my left and this bobcat walks by at ten yards. He saw me trying to get ready and turned to walk off. His mistake was not running. [img:center]http://[/img]
Well I do my happy move and turn and look and this spike is standing in the field at 100 yds looking my way trying to figure out what happened. He finally calmed down and fed around at about 60 yds before walking off. [img:center]http://[/img]

I forgot my seat cushion for my loc-on. My little boney butt is starting to hurt.

I'm back in the white oaks again...I spooked two deer before daylight, but they came back up toward me at 7:00. I could hear them in the thicket about 40 yds away, but never could see them...3 longbeards have set up shop near me now.

Sitting here in a climber I set Sunday on my place in Pickens county. All different kind of oaks raining here. However. I'm second guessing myself. We planted fields last week, and the deer have been hitting the sprouts hard.

Passed on a little buck in full velvet. Had some does work by, but no shots. So far, so good...
