I have already been to Western KY and Southern IL. I have plans to return to Western KY on Oct. 28th to hunt since one buck did not fare so well during my Southern IL hunt. I will return to Southern IL for the first gun season unless I decide to purchase an additional bow tag so I can hunt the rut. I am unsure on the purchase of additional tag due to expense. This is a very good excuse to spend some serious tree time on my KY farm with bow in hand. I have never given that farm any serious bow time during the rut when IL was an option.
