Finally settled in for my first hunt of the year. In a ladder overlooking a small plot with a strip of hardwoods behind me and thick pines in front. Just hoping to see something!

I gar holed myself I believe but my wife should get a shot if she don't spook them.

I slept in this morning, but I'm back after them this afternoon...I'm on the edge of a thick swamp, where drier hardwoods meets the swamp. There's lots of water oaks in here and I think it's gonna be good! Nobody has been in these woods since turkey season (that I know of) and I'm hoping to see an old, ugly 6 pt I have on camera. I believe he's staying back in this swamp.

Well the old lady was drawing on one and must have hit the release. She said the arrow flew toward them. Me and her are snake bit.

Got a doe and twin spotted fawns feeding here now.

Bowfool's son gave a nannerhead a dirt nap.

Just had a lone doe walk by out of range. Didn't even check up to look for acorns.

My Dad and I got skunked this afternoon

Got me a doe..first one with my new Mathews!!! Rage don't play around, it looked like I shot her with a 300 mag.

Had a doe and two fawns eating acorns at 30 yards this afternoon. All of the bucks I had on camera have decided to eat elsewhere. Trying something different in the morning.

My buddy saw his first deer on his first bow hunt tonight but it was out of range. I had 3 come in at dark. I had my video rolling and though it was going to work out. They stopped at 20 yards and couldn't shoot though the cover I had. They have me a BJ.
