Awesome deal! Great buck! 134 1/8

Sorry to leave y'all waiting, I posted that right before I headed to the tree this afternoon. So here's the story, and its a unique one at that.
My girlfriend lives in a neighborhood in Montgomery county (no I'm not telling which one haha). Anyways in the middle of the neighborhood there is a total of about 200acres of woods in the shape of a figure 8 and her parents house borders right up to the narrow part in between. This particular spot is only about a 80 yard section of woods and a creek in between peoples back yards and acts as a funnel for deer traveling back and forth. Well they own 5 acres and on the very back of it I planted about a half acre green field.

I have been watching this buck on camera since December of last year and for the last week he had been coming into the field about 15 mins after dark. So I had to change my game plan. I went up the street about 150 yds and talked to one of her older gentleman neighbors who lives at the mouth of the funnel and he was glad to let me go chill in his back yard tree. So I took my climber up there and sat Saturday morning and afternoon. Passed on a really nice tall 9 that I call TallBoy because I knew old Crabclaw was going to be rolling through there at some point.
Sunday rolls around and the morning hunt proves to be unproductive, but I headed on back out there again at around 3pm. At about 15 mins till dark a little three point walks by feeding on acorns, followed closely by TallBoy. I stood up and was seriously contemplating going ahead and smoking Tallboy when I heard some footsteps coming up behind him. When I looked over and saw ol Crabclaw step out from behind one of the big oaks I almost fell out of my stand. He was hands down the biggest buck that I have ever seen while hunting.
He came up to about 25yds and was quartering hard to me so I waited and he turned sharp and walked off for a bit. So there I am 20ft up in a tree kicking myself because I never got a shot off on him and light is fading fast. BUT......He fed in a half circle and came back in to 15yds on my left......Perfect broadside shot with my Mathews zipped a 2 blade rage through both lungs. He ran about 40yds and I saw him pile up. Needless to say at that point I thought I was having a seizure because I was shaking so hard. I had to sit in the stand for 15mins just so I could calm down enough to get my knees to work again!

And now he's mine and at the taxidermist already! Hope the story was worth waiting for! And thanks a bunch to those who have clicked the link and voted for me in the big buck contest!

I know about where you were hunting. There are some real monsters in a couple of those neighborhoods in east montgomery.

This is the deer that I passed on. And trust me in a normal situation I would never pass him. So he's next on the list after I give them a little time to settle back down!

Man what a great buck and story I remember when I shot my first doe with a bow I almost fell out of the stand my knees were shaking my back cramped up I had to do just what you did set back and settle down after 15 minutes Congrats again !
