The last thing I want is the dang government enforcing another law on me when I'm hunting. It's hard enough to keep up with all the requirements half the time now. The other side of it is that selfishness is ruining hunting. We are our own worst enemy. No one owns a stupid deer. It's a wild goat that roams around eating briars. Some of them get bigger in other areas. Some folks like to manage them, some like to eat them, some just like to shoot them. At the end of the day, 8 point or better laws enforced by the government only serve to minimize participation of the young hunters who aren't gonna hunt because trophy hunting ain't fun and the guy who likes to go out and kill one every now and then ain't gonna pay leases nor plant plots to only go a couple times and see 25 deer on the plot and not shoot one. There's plenty of deer and plenty of places to practice your goat management, just don't suggest forcing on the rest of us, nor try to justify how much "better" your way would be.
