March 1 Private Lake Noon Bass 2, 10-plus Strong south wind, warm temps Unsure, probably in 50s Texas-rigged tube, smoke-red flake Caught a small one on the tube, then went back to where the big one broke me off twice on 12-pound test. Upgraded to 20-pound test. Detecting bites was tough in the wind, but she tapped it and I stuck her. Between 9-10 pounds, beautiful fish. Released and she tail-splashed me good before swimming away.

Date...04MAR04 Water you were fishing on...15 acre private lake near Andalusia Time of day...ALL day!!! Species of fish...Largemouth Bass Weight of the fish or the number of fish you caught...70+ fish from 2 1/2 to 8 1/2 lbs Weather conditions...partly cloudy, verrry windy! Water conditions...stained/clear, temp. unknown Bait you were using...green lizard, silver rattletrap, white spinnerbait Other comments...I have never in my life caught fish like we did yesterday! My arms, shoulders, and upper back are sore from fighting them all! Only kept a couple for supper and one for the wall, the rest are still there and getting bigger for next time!
