saw a decent little buck this afternoon in windy conditions. my buddy that was hunting the same piece of property this afternoon saw 7. I say if you are off work, go!

High winds after a rain are ideal stalking conditions. Slow walking and stopping often.

I saw 5 this afternoon and got two bjs. I use to never hunt in high winds but I've seen a lot of deer the last few years on windy days.

I've killed many deer with high winds to the point where I could not hear anything because of the wind! You also need to read the wind and study it. My number one rule is to get out there and hunt no matter what!

I've seen and killed some nice bucks on days with high wind. They're easier to hit if you're not in a tree, just saying I missed a nice one trying to time my swaying pine tree.

I hate high winds, but, our deer are going to be chasing any day so I'm here.

With my work schedule plus having two kids, I get in the woods whatever the conditions might be.

The wind has been blowing for so long that it will no longer be a factor. after 2days the deer get out anyways.
