I spent this weekend on Ft. Rucker. Didn't see a thing til I almost hit a doe and a boar this morning with the jeep around 6:30 in the fog and a lone doe came flying over from private property on the base grounds at 30 yards but nothing was chasing her. It was slow for me all weekend including my day in Tuskegee. But counted 3 dozen on side of road between Tuskegee and union springs Saturday night.

I was in a club North of barbour and come January that area of the state turns magical. Theres a point when they start chasing that like a light bulb being turned on. Be there in January it will get good. That area of the state Barbour,Lee,Russell ,bullock is my favorite region.

Thanks, The areas is hard to hunt when you have to stay on the ground . seems best for a tree climber .
