My uncle killed a 270 plus 150 inch 8 in Marshall county in 2011. It was so big it took 3 men to load it after it was dressed. Never was put on scales. It was so big that the game warden thought it my have been a northern whitetail that had escaped the Dream Ranch, but it wasn't. It was born in Alabama. It was so big it had to have special mounts shipped to the taxidermist. Biggest bodied deer I've ever laid eyes on and not even close. I shot a 230 pound doe in Wisconsin that was put on scales and this deer dwarfed it.

On the other end of the spectrum, back when I first started hunting where there were actually deer to kill, I shot any legal deer that came by. I killed a 1 1/2 year old spike that weighed 88 lbs. A friend of my brothers killed a yearling doe on that property with his bow that both bone in hind quarters and back straps fit completely inside a 12 pack cooler. Both those deer were killed in south Lee county.

I killed a 9 pt 2 years ago in Pickens County that weighed 208# live and i killed a 9pt 4 years ago in Morgan County that weighed 183# field dressed.

I killed a 7pt one day, and when I walked up to where he was some other deer started to run off, but stopped. I saw what I thought was a big doe, so I shot her. Walked up there and she was T.I.N.Y!!!....had fading spots on her hindquarters. I wanted to leave her, but my dad made me take her out, and I swear I'm not lying-- you could literally grab her legs and pick her up with one arm. If I remember correctly, she field dressed 27 pounds. To be funny, we stuffed her inside the 7pt and only her legs stuck out (barely).

Na...that's what you call a "just right".

4 of them over 220#...I think all but one of them fell in deep bottoms. Did I mention I HATE to drag deer.

Killed my two heaviest deer last year with my bow. 8pt weighed 215# and 9pt was 211#.

I don't have a clue what the live weight would be,but I killed a couple that field dressed in the 170's and my biggest field dressed 186.

I killed a 163 pound nanny on a farm we hunted on the Cahaba river back in 95. She was huge.

Biggest I've killed was right at 200. We had 2 killed in 2012 that went 220. Biggest doe I've killed was 140.

I killed one in Troy, AL several years ago. We let him hang a couple days after we dressed him because it was bitter cold. When I got him to the processor he weighed him at 221. He estimated that deer was over 260 on the hoof.

I have killed a good many over 200 lbs. Biggest in Bama was 222 lbs live weight. I killed one in Iowa with my bow that was 215 lbs field-dressed. Those are some BIG deer up there!

238 buck and a 156 doe, both in montgomery county.

So far my biggest doe is 0 lbs, but my biggest buck is 0 lbs.
