so, you cat haters gonna post yer skeeze no matter what? why can't y'all just leave a fellow member alone in his misery? i doubt y'all lightened the mood for him and his lady; probably just made it worse. i reckon y'all'd just say to the OP: grow a pair and get a dog. ha ha. how droll ... and hey, if y'all don't like getting called out, grow a pair and pet yer dogs ...

I guess I can relate I lost a dog a while back that I was close to, I kept things in perspective and realized even though it sucked he was gone, he was a dog.. my wife brought home a cat and after replacing 4 sets of blinds she had to go, even though I thought she was ok.. sorry for the loss man, it will get better

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

you guys mocking the OP: would you be doing that if he'd lost a dog under the same circumstances? probably not ... No. Some people can only have compassion for things they care about. I hate cats but I'm not going to try to make the original poster feel worse than he already does just because I don't like his choice in a pet. I'm sure he feels just as bad about losing his cat as most of the guys who've lost dogs that everyone offers up condolences, for. Is it the dog we are offering our sympathy or is it for the suffering of a fellow member?

Put the popcorn back in the cabinet, yes I feel sympathy you lost a animal. I think you're knocking on the wrong door if you're breaking down bawling and having problems from the event, sometimes the truth is painful.. if wasn't a human, it was a animal.. get another one tommorow on craigslist for free, Heck get 3 or 4..but remember they are and always will be ANIMALS

I feel for the guy myself, I think more of my dogs than most people I know, they are not just animals to me. I'm just not that in touch with my feline side.
my cur's will kill one in a NY sec. but hey, that's what they do.

Do you have sympathy for those guys crying over the trees that get cut down in the forest? I think what people are saying, at least what I was, is keep things in perspective. This is a hunting website where people talk about killing and eating animals. Don't compare them to humans. It's too bad for the op, but I can't really relate to what he is feeling, cat or dog. That's all I'm going to say about it. I shouldn't have commented at all, but it's a little insulting to kids in my opinion, particularly to those who have actually lost children. Charlie, I'm not sure who that question was directed to..but if it was me then no I don't have sympathy for someone who gets upset over a tree, and if you look back a few posts I stated I do keep things in perspective when it comes to humans/animals.. I was trying to be half nice and sympathize with the guy over his lose.. I'm not a complete arsehat

Ian's a little different due to being hit in the head with a hockey phuck one to many times. But I don't think he was comparing loseing a cat to a child. Least I hope not so I'll give him the benefit of doubt on that.
