Fished a club tourney up there Saturday. TONS of boats!!!
It was a tough day fishing. First time I had ever been on the lake. At least my partner had been there before. We threw everything but the tackle box and tried every structure pattern we could think of.......
We both managed (3) fish apiece only (2) of which would measure. All of our fish were caught shallow next to isolated structure. All were largemouth. The blue bird skies and no wind made for a tough day. All of our bites were reaction bites.
One fella did manage a (5) fish limit for 14lbs to win. He was "turning mud" all day long. Big fish was 5lbs. Sounds like they are moving up! Fishing should really pick up for the fellas fishing the tourney there next week.
Good luck and good fishing!
