Thanks Shooters. Have you ever used one? Are you fairly certain the O'Haus would be a better choice than RCBS 505 or 1010?
On a quick search it seems only used models are available. Do you have a source for purchase?

The RCBS 5-0-5 is made by Ohaus
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

The RCBS 5-0-5 is made by Ohaus Yes, but it seems the new ones are made by a branch located in Mexico. I've read complaints of QC that is all over the place.

Does Ohaus make a triple beam that's graduated in grains? Seems that everything I've found is in grams

One word= O'Haus. For balance beams, the best according to most comp loaders is O'Haus triple pro. Lots of prepper have these. Their VERY accurate. I Think around 140 new, but have sean them used on Ebay for 40-50 bucks. Check them out! Thanks, I found a Triple Pro for $132 shipped and ordered it this morning
I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin Life really is awesome ... Soak it up while you can ...

I should have it tomorrow, will play with it over the weekend I'm getting excited already! LOL. I'm missing something. I just looked again (closer) at that link. I don't see where that scale is in grains. I looked at the manual and it seems to be in grams.

Well I guess I'll have to be calculating grains ... I don't want anything electronic in my shop so I suppose I need some paper and a pencil to do the calcs with LOL

It reads to the nearest 0.1 gram 0.1 gram = 1.54 grains I would send it back and buy a scale in grains. I don't think you'll be happy with 1.54 grain accuracy, especially if you load for smaller pistol cartridges. A 1.5 grain error on some pistol cartridges will push them over the edge. Having said all that, I hope it works out for you.
