I bought mine in 93 or 94. Still using it. Extremely accurate, reliable. Very happy with it. I just wish I has gotten a stainless one.

Mine is a 93 model 30-06. I bought it in 99 and it has been exceptional. Got a cousin and uncle who have several between them from 243 to 300 WM. Can't go wrong with an A-Bolt

I have one in 7mm WSM and it is definitely a long range deer killing machine. Clean as a pin and never had a minutes trouble with it. My regular. Go to gun is a BAR and it has the same reviews. Hard to beat a Browning.

I've got a few and owned a few more. Every one of them were Shooters. My favorite is my sons 7mm08. Bought new 4yrs ago. Shoots 1in all day long with the right load. To the OP not sure about the one you bought or what load you plan on shootin out of it, but for years mine loved the custom SST and but this year it hated the superformance SST. Tried some other loads and found that it loves federal fusion 120gr. My 12yr old son shot a doe at 200+ yds a couple weeks ago. Drilled her right behind front shoulder and she went DRT. I like huntin with it cause of the short action. Feels almost like a youth model for an adult. Very light and maneuverable. I think you will be very happy with it.
If your decoy doesnt have holes in it, your not letting him get close enough... J.H.

I bought a stainless 30-06 first year they were offered in stainless, late 80's. I wanted a 7mm-08 but they didn't offer it. That was a fine rifle, killed a bunch with it.
First year they offered a 7-08 I bought one of those. I still have it, it's had a trigger polish job and has a 3 lb spring in it. It will shoot 7/8" at 100yds with store bought ammo.
I have a 7mmWSM, for Elk killin' and such..... good shooter as well.
Good guns.

I've never owned an Abolt that wasn't a good shooter...
