IMO dont get too hung up on it. Most are hit at night and for every one you find there are 50 more you dont. If you can set up a camera and actually catch some daytime movement on it from a mature buck with any kind of regularity then maybe give it a try but otherwise hunt where the does are.

In Jackson breeding should be rockin', little late for hunting scrapes IMO. Hunt the does, near thick bedding areas . If there are scrapes in the area fine but they don't mean alot now, the time for scrape hunting has passed.
