I'm 67 and wife turns 66 tomorrow. Our boys are 43 and 41. We VOLUNTEER to babysit their kids, who live within two miles of us in Chicago. We spend most of our weekends going to the grandkids' basketball, football or baseball games. Then at night, if the kids want to go out we'll babysit the grandkids.

I'm 41 and my wife is 20. Life is good, but I stay tired all the time. We play Rook with my friends and beer pong with hers. LMAO! I'm 42 my Fiance is 31 and I played beer pong with her brothers last year at one their weddings! My kids are 15 and 13. She wants kids of our own so I'll be in the same boat as some of you old farts at the pre-school.
One day the right woman will come along and the next thing you know you'll be wearing her underwear!

Myself and my wife are the same age as you, our son wi be 3 in April. It sounds as if your friends have their priorities in order. I know for me, my away time hunting and other activities, I have cut way back on as opposed to three years ago. It is more important to me to be a present Father, there are precious memories I would regret missing out on if I were to be off somewhere else. When it is all said and done, family and children are our greatest asset. When I die, my son will know me, know I loved him, was there for him to be the father figure every lil man needs and his best buddy for as long as I can be! I regret that I don't get to hunt as much as I'd like, but I would regret more missing out on the priceless memories you can never get back once they grow up. We have long time friends who have teenage children, but we waited till Later in life to have our children and we have switched roles with our friends. For years we were on the move while they were doing the family thing. Now their families are on the move.

I'm 30 and wife 26. We have 10 month old and one on the way. Due in august. Looks like my hunting is about over.....
It's not how many days you hunt, it's how you hunt each day, that determines the success.

I know how you feel since we married so young. Ours are 12 and 9 and I love them dearly but we still have lives beyond our kids. Alot of it is this generation of minivan moms and the whole "look at our perfect family" on Facebook crowd. We have several friends our age that got married later then us and have young kids. We dont hang out with them anymore for the same reasons. Its annoying trying to have an adult conversation and all they want to talk about is how special and eccentric little Leo is and all 437 of his food allergies are "rare" too .
Hes not eccentric woman, hes a straight up fruit loop. He IS going to like dudes. You have ruined him.
Theres nothing on this planet more unattractive than a beautiful woman that has kids and then that's all she can talk about.

Me and the wife are both 29. Kids are 8, 16 months, and 8 weeks. Still have friends and do stuff but I would just about rather be playing with my kids.

That always cracks me up, folks that think having health problems are a good thing so they create health problems where there really are none.
