We could have used You today Paul. I carried a buddy up there to one of my old haunts today and he smoked him a big bodied 8 pointer(well, 8 point if you count the 1 broken tine). He shot it at about 8:30am this morning and we made it back to the truck with it about 3:00pm.(I will NOT go back into that area without my 4 wheeler from now on.) The direction of the truck was down hill and about a mile along side the mountain. But all of the rocks, boulders, and ravines made walking a chore. Dragging wasn't merely a chore, it was down right WORK. My hunting buddy has had a couple of heart attacks and hasn't been able to hunt like we used to, and it has been several years since he has got to harvest a decent buck, so this was a blessing for him. It was for me too, although I didn't see a hair.

You keep at it and You'll get your big one. thumbup
