They haven't even put a dent in the white oaks from what I've seen.
I hunted by a white oak tree Friday that acorns ankle deep. I figured they were rotten or something, but I cracked a couple open and they looked just fine. There must just be so much mast up there.
Yep and a lack of deer to eat them. The place has been managed like Barbour the last 6 yrs with liberal doe harvest and it's catching up IMO.
