Wileys post about his last meal of Sauger and milk got me wonder, if you had to make that choice what would it be?


I think a good mess of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, pulled smoked Boston butt, a few gallons of sweet tea, fried okra and some cherry cobbler to wash it down would do it for me..what say yall?

I might add fried okra to mine

Cubed steak and gravy,mashed red taters,cajun corn and sweet peas.

Care to elaborate on" Cajun corn"? Sounds good

A good ol cheeseburger

Veal Parmigiana with a side of fettuccine alfredo

Ham from the Honey baked ham store. Some homemade yeast rolls, my mommas copper pennys, some of her homeade biscuits, some of my honey, some of my mother in laws strawberry preserves, with a big bowl of grits and butter.

Then for desert, mine or my mothers cornbread crumbled up in a big glass of Mayfield skim milk.

and I might add a swig of real cold buttermilk

In place of the Poke Salat?




I'll take smoked beef brisket, Some home cut French fries with the skins on, baked beans, a big ole glass of sweet tea, and to finish it all off, a generous slice of Mamma's Pee-can Pie.

Hushpuppies with the spicy cheese dipping sauce, Cole slaw from ed's on the causeway, my grandma's grill cheese sandwich....I keep thinking of more

I have had supper, but dangit, this thread is making me hungry all over again.

A good helping of cathead biscuits And tomato gravy

cold homemade meatloaf sandwich with lots of mayo and salt on fresh white bread.

Chicken-fried-chicken, good sliced maters, sweet corn/okra/cherry mater stir fry whatever that's called, corn bread with no sugar, buttermilk pie, sweet tea

And a nice cold pale ale

Mess of fried quail and rabbit with homemade biscuits and a thick sawmill gravy. I'd go down full and happy.

Oh man, now that sounds Goooood. But you need a tooth busting cold, glass of milk with it.

Fried crappie,taters,hushpuppies and slaw.
