I was just sitting around a lil bit ago and was think about my son's rifle I am putting together. Abolt 270wsm. Leupold vx 3 3.5 x10x50. I was looking out in the back yard and was think man this is not close to the scope that my Schmidt & bender is. I go get it out of the safe and I see my dad's Weatherby with an bushnell 4200 2.5x10x50. So I think I'll see what this looks like also. I haven't hunted with it much after he died. It's as bright or brighter than the s&b. Any of yall have one? Is the newer 6500 better?
Get close, call soft

I have a 4200 4x16x50 AO. I love mine. It's clear and bright. Never given me a lick of trouble. It's on a weatherby 270 WSM and matches up well. I've had it about 10 years.

I got a 4200 4x16x50 on my A bolt micro 308. It's as good of a scope as one could ask for. I just wish it had an illuminated reticle like all my other scopes.

Have couple of 3200s and 4200s and an old Bausch and Lomb elite 3000 that was their precursor. Great optics that will compete with much higher priced scopes.

One of the best deals ever on a scope was the Bausch and laumb/bushnell 3200 5-15x50. Bear basin had them for around 250.00 for years. Yes, good scopes.

I have had an elite 3200 3x9x50 for about 15 years and I have a newer nikon monarch 4x16x50 and I think the bushnell has better low light performance at the same magnification than the Nikon.

Shooters I saw on eBay where Simmons in Bessemer sold several 6500's back at years end for around $500 for the 2.5x16x50 mil dot. Man it sure was hard to not buy one for that.

That sounds like a good deal. my friend got 1 when they were new. I think SWFA runs them for 750 or so. Like i said. I cant say what they will do in the low light, BUT they track well and glass seams good! I like the 2.5x16x50. i would buy one IF someone other than SWARO made a 2x16x56 with a lighted reticle

I just saw a bushnell elite 3200 10x40 fixed for sale. What would be an "I can't pass this up price" and how practical is a fixed 10power scope. I've never used a fixed power.
