Ok let's dive into this.
Here's the scenario, and we have all probably been in this one.
You are sitting in a shooting house on a greenfield. Your buddy is in another shooting house say 1/2 (7 or 800 yards) mile away.
He shoots a doe with a high powered rifle.
You know after hearing the shot if he hit the deer or not?
Maybe my hearing is bad, but I can't distnguish the difference in that scenario. I have personally hear the bullet make a sudden pop after the shot.
I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.
