Need to find a Jackson County processor. Backwater Outdoors is fantastic. They cost a little more than the others but I've been very pleased with them. 6239 U.S. 72 Gurley, AL 35748 (256) 776-9109 Another good one and a small timer option is Jenkins Deer Processing 493 Acuff Rd Gurley, AL 35748 256-679-9392 Yeah I saw Jenkins when I went back through the thread but was trying to garner some more opinions on others in Jackson Co. I looked up Backwater in Gurley and their web site gives good details. Only a few bucks more expensive for butchering than where I'm going now, but cheaper and lower minimum for specialty stuff. I will definitely hit them up next year ... if I score one from Skyline. I've been watching some videos about field dressing and quartering deer for packing out. I love going deep in the woods, just have to be sure I can make it out without my walker. LOL
Love God. Love people. Serve Christ.
