Samesex marriage in the bible state is legal. All I can do is shake my head and wonder how ppl really think its okay for 2 men to marry

Marriage is a legal contract between two people recognized by the government. Gay people should be allowed to enter into this contract just as much as straight people. If two people love each other and treat each other well why should they not be allowed to share the legal rights that marriage provides? How does two people having a legal document and expressing their commitment to one another have any bearing on your life?

Because it's called an abomination in the Bible and God punishes whole nations for allowing such behavior whether the people participated in homosexuality or not. That's what makes it our business.

Whether they are allowed to marry or not, they are allowed to be gay and have relationships with the same sex, so such behavior is allowed wheter or not they are allowed to be married. I guess we are all screwed.

Marriage is actually a biblical union of two people that is recognized by government. Homosexuals can have civil unions or legal partnerships but they CAN NOT have a marriage. The reason they are so adamant on having it called "marriage" is to further weaken the biblical principles that our society has recognized for several hundred years.

It is what it is......and nobody is gonna stop it. It will be legal in all 50 states soon enough. Agree or disagree we will all have to learn to live with it. Gay people are people just like us, why single them out and not allow them to enjoy life as the rest of us do? Some cite the bible and use religious reasons but we have separation of church and state so that's not gonna work. Lots more religions in this country than Christianity. Heck Christianity wasn't even the first religion in this country but listening to some people you'd think it is the end all be all. We are a mixed country in every way you can possibly measure, so tolerance is a virtue, especially here!
And yes gays are welcome to the misery of marriage just like the rest of us. HA!

I think you hit the nail on the head with your choice of word "allowed" . We are a society that now has "allowed" all of this stuff to happen, nearly everytime you look on tv somewhere you see 2 butt bandits hugged up to each other. I for one dont roll like that and I dont want any part of it and I dont want it forced on me or my family.
