When I was a single parent my daughters were acting up one day in the car. I stopped on the side of Hwy 431 on Monte Sano mountain, a high traffic area. I lined them up against the trunk of my car and scolded them in plain sight of everyone passing by. That night a liberal friend of mine razzed my butt about it saying there was no place for embarrassment when raising kids. I disagreed with him and we argued about it for weeks.
My daughters have never given me a lick of trouble. His daughter's are hellions ... Knock on wood and praise God ...

Child abuse is not funny. No its not and you are dilluting the definition by calling shaving a kids head child abuse. Do you have kids? If you don't then you have no idea what you are talking about and should just be quiet. 2nd question if you have do have kids do you spank them? Do you think that is child abuse as well?

Child abuse is not funny. They did something to humiliate the child and they should be held responsible for their actions. What would you suggest? A dark closet reach around from your kids? With a lot of your recent comments I'm not sure you wouldn't advocate something along those lines. the term "child abuse" has been over abused to include everything up to ,and including, looking crosseyed at yer child. Cutting his hair isn't child abuse in any manner.

I used to keep a bright pink baseball glove In my sons bat bag and told him Infront of his whole team that if he didnt pay attention and do his best I would make him use it the rest of the game. All I would have to do to him when I caught him goofing off on the field was point at the bat bag lol! You better hide that glove quickly, pab has probably already called DHR on your azz.
