So overall how did your season go?
As far as mine went I had a great time, it was great being in the woods with my huntin buddies and getting close to God and nature. As far as my harvest results not so good, I didn't see any deer from muzzy to January but I hung in there and got a decent 8pt last Saturday. But usually I'm able to get a couple of does early and then buck hunt the rest of the season, not this year. Most of what I did see were yearlings, however I did not see a single spotted fawn which is unusual. Most hunters that I talked to said it was a slow season. Who knows why, new baiting regulation, warm winter, rainy summer with a lot acorns and plenty of browse, more hunters in the woods, who knows.

Bowseason was as expected, deer spread out because of all the acorns, although i did take a doe. Early season on my farm, was pathetic because of 1000's of acres of contiguous mountain property, covered in acorns. Moved to my club at Christmas and took a nice 3y/o 8ptr. Took another 3y/o 8 ptr middle of Jan.

Best Ive ever had. Killed 2 bucks this year first season ive killed more than 1 rack buck. both of which were larger than anything i have killed in previous season. Also got 2 does. My wife also killed the biggest buck either of us have ever killed this season (124"). so we finally get a mount for the wall. she also got a doe. So our family killed 3 bucks and 3 does this year!!! This is in Bibb, Lee, and Macon counties.

Spent too much time in NM in the fall so I really only got to hunt Jan....But I got to hunt a decent amount with my dad and have fresh meat in the freezer so other than not getting to see the fall colors from a tree stand it was good!

Didn't get out as much as usual. Missed most of bow season due to work but I ended up bring home more BONE then ever.

Got a nice 9pt in Nov 15 minutes afer daylight. Most exciting 30 minute chase in December ended with a 15 yd shot on a mature buck. Late January I tagged out with my highest scoring buck.

Also got a couple of does in there somewhere and led a buddy to his biggest buck in 10 years.

Very good season for me, hope next year is as good.

I bought an ATV to get to my hunting area, now half the fun of hunting is the ride in and out.

I was able to hunt 5 times.

I killed two coyotes and 2 small bucks.

It was decent year for me. I wish I could have gone more and could have been a bit more selective.

No meat in the freezer for me this year.... that sux.
Shot at and missed one this year with my smoke pole. first time I got to pull the trigger with my ML on something other than paper. Got excited and just flat out missed.
I got to hunt after sleeping in a tent. (great two days in the woods!)
I got to hunt in February. (first!)
Other than not bringing anything home, I was pleased with the way my season ended and can't wait until October 15!

Very good season -- shot 8 deer, 2 with my bow (very first bow season ever), and we learned how to process our own Italian & Breakfast sausage and the freezer is slam full... Managed to knock down a 7pt buck in the last week; only disappointment was not bagging some nice buck I had caught on my game cam, but *hopefully* they'll be there for next season!

Great season. Among the best I've ever had. 4 with a bow and 6 with a rifle. Freezer is full and helped another family fill theirs.

Worst season I've ever had for seeing & killing deer hands down. That being said my nephew killed a small buck and 2 does. My 6 yr old got to see his first deer and saw my nephew kill one of his does. All the work that my dad and I put in was rewarded in spending time together. We had a blast cooking out, telling fibs, stepping on barking spiders and such. Can't put a price on the memories that were made but wish we could have seen more deer. I miss deer hunting from the 80's & 90's, we saw tons of deer and killed 80-120 deer per year. This year there was 15 deer killed on our club that has same # members and +/- 150 acres in size from the club we were in back in those days. One more season and it will be time to reevaluate and make necessary changes/adjustments.

Slow compared to years past. Only seen 6 bucks, and 3 of them were spikes. I seen a fair amount of deer, but I didnt see a single shooter all year long. Missed a doe. No meat in the freezer. All I managed to kill was time and a coyote. Still had fun tho, I love being in the woods

For me probably the best season in a decade. I killed a good buck and passed on quite a few club legal bucks. My daughter killed her first buck in seven years and overall seen more deer.

Best ever! Bow season was slow the times I got to go but the second and third week of January I killed bucks,3 total. No does this year bc everyone I saw had fawns and there is no way I would shoot one while it had little ones close by.
