Took my test in a single axel auto and 18 bay miller high life trailer back in the day. Didn't drive for 5 years and jumped into pulling 53' van trailers and straight frames. I still can't double clutch down shifting the best, but I learned on a Mack 5 speed floating gears. The test was a piece of cake 10 years ago. Good luck.

I love my automatic 12 speed. Been floating gears so long I can't double clutch worth a damn. On the other hand, I can barely drive a 5 speed car now because I try to double clutch it.

X2, mine was, a little short top kick truck and lowboy. I could back it like a boss and never had to pull up and try again. The guys in cullman doing the test in a big rig all failed that day. 2 of the 6 of us passed in the top kick truck.

Let me know when you put yours to use and I'll be sure to stay clear of you.

If my mother in law can pass I'd say it ain't to bad.

I haven't driven one since, that was 8 or so years ago. smile
