Olé Strut Busters was a dream team and got dethroned after a good run...it will happen. I signed up to hopefully be a part of the ones that do it, but I probably won't even hear a gobble, much less kill one this year!

Like yekrut said I'm on several boards and on each board there's dudes with thousands of posts and they kill 1 bird between 4 states, and others with less than 100 that limit out in 4 states. random pick the teams and let the hand play out, you never know when you have an Ace or 4 in the hole. If you're skeered don't sign up, simple.

This^. It's all in fun. And I don't know why people think our team is so absolutely unbeatable. It has been pretty darn close right down to the end a few years.

That settles it. I'm gone from this thread. Ya'll taking me WAY too seriously when I'm just picking over a fun little contest. Brandon could out turkey hunt me blind folded. I was, however, being totally serious about the betting though. If you want to take that $100 and put it on the team of your choice, even after the random drawing, and I get Team 1....I'll be your huckleberry. The contest will get real fun for me in a hurry if I get to bet on Team 1. Barring something major that prohibits a couple of them from turkey hunting (God forbid)....they for sure won't be beat by a randomly drawn team.....especially with the influx of all of the new folks to this site and the contest....adding that many more potential folks that ain't gonna participate. Any and all who want to bet on any team and I get Team 1 after the drawing....send me a PM please! Regardless, I hope everybody here whacks the piss out of the birds this spring! Won't be long!!!!

I really do not see anything wrong with the contest. It's all in fun and I am having fun as are most of the other folks in it. If it's not fun for you to chase a champion team then so be it, if you like to think that your team could be the next team 1 then sign up and let's do this thing. If you think beating this team is bad wait until a team beats them and see how tough they will be. Everyone needs to remember this is all for fun, there are no prizes, there are no medals or trophys.

We just need to make the turkey contest like tee ball where everybody gets a trophy and is a winner. Who cares what the score is

I cant remember what team number we were last year, but I was on the Limbhangers and we gave Team 1 a run for their money. All of our guys killed turkeys and if I recall correctly four of our five killed three or more turkeys.
