I agree about Metallica but disagree about MC. I think Def Leppard was better but it's all a matter of opinion.

I have never liked GNR, not even a little bit. BUT, Journey will (used to) get your pecker some attention in the blink of an eye!

I still listen to some. Mainly Metallica. I do however, have a cat named Ronnie James Dio. I got him a couple days after Dio died.

Yea Cmon.

X2... Saw Poison several times and they did a great show. GNR was my first concert ever at the Birmingham Turf club. Skid Rowe, Metallica. Probably the best set I ever saw live was Cinderella at Oak Mt. Tom Keifer killed those guitar riffs and solos.

I was at that GNR concert at the Turf Club. They sucked. Skid Row blew them off the stage. I still remember Axl Rose getting pissed when someone threw a muddy tarp up on the stage and got his pretty leather outfit dirty. grin

I remember that Shaw. I also remember it took GNR about 3hrs to hit the stage after Skid Rowe. Axle was def a diva. I was 12-13 and I saw lots of "things" for the first time that night. grin Remember the long walk to the show and a HUGE box of camera equipment that people were not allowed to take in the show so they just threw them in that big box rather than walk them back to their car. Thousands of $ worth of photography equipment in that box.

Also can't believe nobody mentioned Twisted Sister. That dude had some big hair!

Quiet Riot's Metal Health was the first cassette tape I ever bought. Def Leppard's Pyromania was the first album I ever bought.
