We were on the same team. We had some boys from southeast Alabama as well who killed their 3 each. I had forgotten about our one team member who didn't kill a bird. I hope we get to be on the same team again Mr. Clif.

Boy, after reading through all 7 pages of comments, I could have sworn I was listening in on a coaches meeting between Bret Bielema and Nick Saban on how to change the rules to stop a no huddle offense. Or better yet, an Obama campaign rally on how to end term limits. I've been on this site since the Brody Joe days but probably haven't posted more than 300 post. I don't get much out of giving a thumbs up or a smiley face for every topic I click on just to run up my post count. Do I still qualify to be on a team?

I agree it hurts a team if someone signs up knowing they are not going to hunt. But some sign up and just have bad seasons. If you have a guy on the team not having any luck, invite him to go with you and let him kill one of your birds. It will build friendships and help your team in the process. Or don't and see your score affected and lose. It's all just for fun right? LOL

Yall some sure enough bad arses....for hitting the lottery by random chance and drawing 5+ dudes that kill some turkeys while the rest of the teams draw 2 (me and teamduckdown were the only two that killed 3+ each my first year) to 4 that do. I don't know why ya'll are so damn afraid of getting beat by some real competition....especially given it's just for fun? It's just a DAMN turkey contest for NOTHING but pride. Ya'll didn't have a bunch of damn spring trainings and recruiting of elite athletes and film watching and summer workouts and mouth mashing scrimmages to build a dynasty like a damn sports program or something. It was RANDOM, luck of the damn draw, that yall ended up together. Pure luck. Ya'll are the Oregon of turkey contests....beating a bunch of cupcake teams that can't do a thing to be better except invite some damn stranger that you don't know from Adam's housecat to shoot one of your turkeys, that you worked your arse off to find on public land and/or spending hours and hard earned dollars to procure permission or on a place that a lifelong friend who loves to turkey hunt was kind enough to bring you in on, to help win a meaningless internet contest. Thanks, but no thanks. I'd rather just get thumped....cause it don't mean nothing but my turkeys do. Hell, at least on the oldgobbler contest, though it was STUPID with having to do all of those silly pictures for a contest with absolutely nothing on the line, every team could hand pick a team so it was a level playing field.

Ya'll ain't done nothing but whine and bellyache about being "fair" and not changing anything since it was even mentioned and discussed (and never even remotely seriously considered by the only one that could change it). Brandon has done said it ain't changing so PLEASE shut the hell up and let it die for heaven's sake. We get it. It's over snd we're cool with it. Seriously. We're fully aware that even though ya'll are talking a bunch of smoke and mirrors tough guy mess....that ya'll are a bunch of skeered wusses. Period. Scared that the "dynasty" might end up being beaten.....in a silly contest.....over turkeys....that is mostly dependent upon random chance in the team drawings...."just for fun." Damn what a bunch of yella "champions" that have zero desire to have a little competition for a change. Ya'll would still win but it would be lots more fun and rewarding in the process because you would have several more teams closer to your score total instead of ONE flippin team at about 200 points away and the rest hundreds behind. Heck, if by some chance it looked like ya'll weren't gonna win toward the end, Squeaky would drop $10k and pay for all of yall to go hunt Kansas and Nebraska with him to make sure ya'll still win. No worries pal. I've beat this dead and swollen horse enough so I'll just say....Go Ducks....and Team 1!

And for the record....I'm STILL gonna find me a sucker willing to bet against ya'll after the teams are drawn. These boys saying ya'll are beatable as-is obviously aint real good at mathematics, probability, statistics, and analyzing facts. I'll dangle a hundred point carrot/headstart in front of some sucka and take his money when ya'll thump em real good. Even though I think ya'll are yella....I got all the faith and respect in the world (I must cause I'm the only one who believes you are untouchable....especially now that ArKic is back in the mix too) in ya'll mashing a bunch of good turkeys.
