anyone wanna share what rings you use to on ruger american, I am mounting 40 mm nikon pro staff and want it as low as possible. will low, medium, be best? also feel free to share experiences with your ruger american. I am gonna mainly use mine for a fowl weather, truck gun beater, etc

I just picked up a Ruger American Predator today in .22-250. I used medium rings to mount a 3-9×40 Minox on it. That's using the rail that comes on the Predator rifles. Sits just right with the medium rings

I love it. I liked it enough that I took off a VX3 Leupold to put it on the last rifle I had it on. It gathers light great and is super clear. Great scopes for the money
