I will make this very easy for you. There are no turkeys or deer on Hollins. They all died off in the 80's. If you hunt there you will only see drunk hillbillys and maybe a squirrel or two. I wouldn't waste my time at that sorry place.

I've hunted in and around hollins for the last 7 or 8 years. The only observation I will offer is that the turkey population is about half what it was 3 years ago.

A general rule for public land is leave your hooter at the house. That means in the mornings too. Wait for the birds to do their thing.
