YAPER OP 4 point Y Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 242 Hope Hull	Got to hunt with my former neighbor this morning. He owns 80 acres in Bullock county but it's the turkeyest 80 acres I've ever seen or hunted. We've killed some big birds on this place the last 5 years or so. The goal this morning was to call a bird in for his daughter, Morgan. So jeff was gonna be back up and I had calling/ guiding duty. It really was a crappy morning weather wise but the birds didn't know it, the best morning of the season so far. We heard 3-4 different birds on this 80 acres and several off the property. 1 bird gobbled more than the others so he was the target. He got hung up on the top of a ridge and didnt want to budge, so I went silent on him and gave him some leaf scratching and just enough purrs and clucks to get him in trouble. Morgan couldn't get the shot so her dad Jeff was the trigger man, and he killed a whopper! 23lbs 1oz 11" beard 1 1/4& 1 3/8 Spurs! I was happy for him but definitely jealous after seeing how freaking big this bird was! Another great day in the turkey woods.
