Read some of the comments in the paper or on AL.com when alligator season rolls around, or any pictures of game animals for that matter. There are some nuts out there and they remind me that we must be vigilant in the protection of our rights.

Very true. Anyone who believes "that can't happen here" about antis getting stronger and starting to chip away is denying the truth. It can happen and as libs continue to gain traction in Alabama and the Southeast we very well could see changes within the next generation in regard to hunting, trapping and fishing. Will it? Unlikely. Could it? Definitely.

Foot hold traps are gone forever here in Florida - sad thing is that I've heard people in our hunting club say they don't believe in trapping then whine and cry about coyotes/bobcats killing fawns .
