$1,500 is the most I've ever paid for a "club", so to speak. Three of us paid about $1,800 each for a few years to lease our own land, but when all was said and done (planting, fuel, gates, etc) there's no telling what we really had in it. I got out of it simply for financial reasons (cost vs benefit analysis). I'm not sure I'd ever pay over $1,000 to join a club again, I'd just lease my own land.
We were on the edge of Eternia, when the power of Greyskull began to take hold.

I feel exactly the same way If I could kill one mountable buck say 130+ and a couple does to eat each year and see deer most of the time I go hunting I would be happy happy happy and wouldn't mind paying. But even then there is a limit I guess.
My suggestin to you if that's all you want^. For your one buck Go hunt a week in western KY public land LBL, H&H.... It'll cost you a total of $500. Then kill your does on public land in Alabama. I have been to KY a few times seen a ton of deer seen some absolute studs to far away to shoot. And I have yet to kill a 130"+ deer up there. Could have killed some 115" bucks but that is not why I went up there. I can do that here.
If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.

I would think ones income and overall financial condition would have to come into play. If I am 55 years old, make $200,000 a year and have no mortgage or kids to put through college, I could probably justify $1,500 a year for a club - versus the 30 year old who makes $50,000 a year and is just starting out. Just starting out at 30? What did they do for last ten years???

There is no doubt your financial situation plays a huge part. That is what I asked what kind of guidelines do you use to base it off of. I am not 55 yet but if I was making $200,000 I would be able to afford more than $1,500. I payed more than that last year on a lot less than $200,000
