This morning I had Set up 100 yards out. 6 Am he was gobbling at everything for 20 min. I let him know where I was with a fly down. 3 min. Later I hear him pitch down. Coming right to me. 50 yards out hen flys down and they walk straight off to the sunrise. Stupid birds. I had 3 hours of sleep thinking about this mornings hunt. Time to go give the man 8 hours It's not a Passion, it's an Obsession. That's what I tell my wife, but she promptly informs it's a disease to which is incurable.

I left another bird gobbling his fool head off "Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes to us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday."
