I had the code checked before I bought anymore plugs and it was reading a P0353 code, which is a bad coil pack or bad circuitry. Being that they were brand new, I decided to pop the hood and check my connections...low and behold, I never connected pack 3. I plugged her in and it was running smoother than ever. After some work obligations, the wife and I went on what I call the "turkey loop" through St. Clair county. The ride went great, truck ran good, and saw about 20 birds. Been running great today, so hopefully I have resolved the issue. As for now, it is running the Champion plugs and ACCEL coil packs.

A lot of bad talk about the Champion plugs, but it's weird that Alabama Power carries nothing but Champions for their fleets. Same with a few local companies as well. Maybe the premium plugs are the way to go. Truck is running the best it has since day 1. A little more power and a little better MPG. I'll take it.

I changed the plugs in my 05 f150 about nine months ago. I went with the champion plugs and have had no problems. I think it would be retarded to put a plug back in that you know are prone to break off.
