My good friend's 13 year old daughter was sent home from school for wearing a tee shirt with a picture of a dog, a duck, and a shotgun on it. This was in Lee county.

You are full of sh!t. Your good friends' cousin brother in law neighbors dog cousin's daddy told you to get fired up about something or another on the internet and that is best you could do?

I will get more information later today. I don't post things unless I believe it. My wife read this off of my friends Facebook page last night. I haven't spoken to him yet directly but will after I go turkey hunting today. This is from a good friend that is a pastor and now is employed by my small company. I do personally know them very well.

My apologies for being harsh. I am always skeptical whenever someone says "my friend told me..."
That science teacher and principle need some adjustment, they are clearly being racist against standard middle American culture and should be called on it.

From what I read, it has nothing to do with being a hunting shirt. It has to do with having a gun on the shirt. Almost every school has a rule in the dress code about clothing with guns. So, she should have known she couldn't wear it. This is the answer. Your problem is with the rules, not the teachers following the rules.
