I figured I would get the ball rolling on the planning. Wanted to get you guys opinion on what you would like so it would be enjoyed by all.

Lets start with a date. How does June 13th sound to you guys? That will give us 6 weeks to plan and prepare.

Place. How would somewhere mid-lake at Guntersville sound to everyone? I have already started looking for a ramp where we could grill out once it was all finished. I thought about Goosepond but I know there will be another tourny there that day and it will be packed. We could do Mink Creek boat ramp. I know there is a picnic area there by the ramp. We could also do South Sauty, Jackson Co. Park or Scottsboro City park. Of the ones I listed, I like Mink Creek and Scottsboro City the best with the edge going to city park. They have a nice ramp, plenty parking and picnic area all right there.

Sounds good to me. We goin for bragging rights or we doin a entry fee?

How about Guntersville State Park so we can bring campers and make a weekend of it. I'm under the impression this is a social gathering as much as a fishing tournament but I'm down to fish also

Much more of a social gathering, IMO. I'd love to come up but I'll be packing the truck to move to Colorado about then.

Scottsboro City park sounds good to me. Less then a mile from my driveway. It's usually never to packed- very few tourneys launch out of it. They also have the covered pavillion that could be used to grill out at. The ramp and dock is nice. Any of the ramps listed though would actually be fine with me.

Let's do GSP for those with campers. And bragging rights with side bets.

I ain't coming up for a day tourney this gotta be a Friday afternoon arrival Sunday morn leave deal. Make a weekend out of it. I want to do some noodling up their where the big fish are.

Mid lake sounds good. Im going to try and make it. We need to have one close to central bama next after this one like mitchell or alabama river. Guntersville would be nice though just wish it was last weekend in june because of work. I still may can make this one and am all for it. Ill suggest $65 entry and $10 optional big fish pay 1 in 7 places but more or less isnt going to change my mind on going and maybe we can come up with some kind of trophy that has to be brought to the next one for bragging rights.

We can make it an all weekend thing guys. I didn't know that's what yall wanted. If some of you are gonna pull campers also, we could do GSP or south sauty. They both have nice camp grounds and ramps. I know for GSP, a full hookup is only 24.50 a night and 22 a night for power and water only. I'll have to call s.sauty and find out there rates.

Im in fee or no fee. I am local so I don't care if its a one day thing or all weekend. I may need a partner and I like CKyleC's bid!

The way these were done in the past.. There was a small entry fee, but I'm pretty sure all the money went to Toys For Tots. There were prizes that were raffled off after the tourney. There was a panfish division and a bass division. Possibly even a catfish division. Y'all do it however you want, this is just how it was done previously.
