to run a trolling motor? obviously you'd have to have one to run the big motor but what about just trolling around while fishing?
I'm fishing in my first tournament Sat. don't see any need in getting a boating license since I wouldn't be driving the boat anyway, but what about running the trolling motor?
I know this is probably a dumb question, but....

I've had my fining license checked but I've never been asked to show my drivers license that I can remember.

Isnt a drivers license good? No. The vessel license is an endorsement on your DL, but is actually a different license.

Nope have to have the v on them. Couple years ago it was 400.00 plus court cost. If you dont have them.
