If you were going to buy a new bow for this season what would be your #1 choice.

I know it depends on how a bow feels to each individual. But I would like to get yals opinion on what bow do I need to get my hands on before I make my final choice.

Man I haven't saw a bow out there any better than a Mathews Chill X.
"Guess I just got too much Mathews in me!"

What is it that y'all like about the new breed so much? I shot multiple ones and nothing felt special about them to me. I shot them side by side with several of the new hoyts, the new elite, the new bear, and my mathews heli-m. If I had to pick, simply based on feel, and how they shoot, I'd grab them in this order. New breed, heli-m, elite, hoyt, then bear. That and the fact that they are a local company, and it is a little cheaper new, than others.

I can understand the wanting to support a local company and they are a bit cheaper but outside that I haven't heard a defining answer on why someone suggests New Breed. I guess it is mainly those two reasons because I always just hear someone say the manufactures name "New Breed" and not a particular model. I went to Grabows and shot two of the New Breeds and 4 different Hoyts, I have tested out Elite and Mathews locally but there was nothing about the New Breed that set my pants on fire.

Not everyone is the same, if we were, we would all have the same bows. I liked the new breed better than any bow I've ever shot. Much better than the hoyts, and just a hair better than my current setup.

I narrowed it down to Hoyt and Elite. I was a Mathews man for a long time, but just didn't like the new ones all that much, other than the Chill-X. I ended up with a Carbon Spyder and I like it a lot.

Whatever couple-year-old, lightly used bow I could find for a good deal on Craigslist/Facebook/ALDeer Classifieds/ETC...
