Glad he didn't know where the ladder was. Springer would have torn up the boat getting after him. I was in the water at the time and looked up to see him headed toward me at about 5 feet and I couldn't tell what kind it was. Casually got out of the water. Matt Brock wears knock-off Crocs.

One guy had a pistol with him and fired shots on the side of the track to kill it. The track manager said it was a rattle snake! At the end of the day I looked into the back of the truck to find a 3 foot corn snake that had caused all the excitement! . .
