Had one swimming across a place on Martin about a month ago. He wanted to get in the pontoon with us. Glad he didn't know where the ladder was. Springer would have torn up the boat getting after him. I was in the water at the time and looked up to see him headed toward me at about 5 feet and I couldn't tell what kind it was. Casually got out of the water.
