looks good! question, How did you do the wings, I've always had trouble with them so I just stopped trying it. I really want to do this on a champion turkey next year

looks good! question, How did you do the wings, I've always had trouble with them so I just stopped trying it. I really want to do this on a champion turkey next year Thanks! On the wings, I first cut as much meat off the bones as possible, leaving just bones and skin. Then I stretched them out to the size/shape I wanted them to be and stapled/nailed them to a board. A liberal coating of Borax (or just salt), and ~5-6 weeks later they're good. The whole final display is on a 8" or so wide piece of plywood, that is cut down to a taper where the neck of bird is. The wings are nailed through the skin, to the board under the cape portion. Also, I am assuming you know that this is 3 separate pieces; wing, wing, cape/tail fan.

no I didn't know it was three pieces, how did you attach them? I have always thought these type mounts were all one piece
