Decided to sell my Insight CNVD-T thermal sight. Used but not abused! Works flawlessly and is in great condition. This is a hard to find mil-spec unit. They sell new for $20k plus! Yes I know they expensive before the comments start. Can be used as a dedicated thermal scope with its own reticle or as a clip-on which is how I use it. Comes with Amber demist lense and hard case. $7000 obo. Can not be shipped out of country.
Here are a few links to new units for comparison ;

The CNVD-T is a weapon-mounted thermal sight and stand-alone thermal detector. Designed for non-magnified close-quarters battle (CQB) optics, it can be used in conjunction with a day optic and is a true clip-on, pass-through site. The CNVD-T mounts on a 1913 rail in front of an existing optic. It is ruggedized for battlefield conditions and optimized for CQB use. It has a 60 Hz refresh rate for incredibly smooth target acquisition and image panning.

A user-friendly menu provides adjustments for brightness, contrast, and polarity change (white hot or black hot).

WOW! That sounds like a great deal. Few questions though. How does the CNVD-T compare to say the FLIR T75? I ask because i have used the FLIR T75. What year was it made? What is the recoil rating? FLIR T75 is rated to 50 BMG BUT I would want to chance that much personally? What is the dectection range on say a hog or coyote?

I believe the factory info states moving man at 500 m and stationary vehicle 1000m. I read somewhere up to 50 cal back when I was researching them but I can't swear to that. One of my friends also has the CNVD-T and the other a T50. I like the Insight better than the T50 because of field of view and button location. I have not looked thru a T75 so I can't comment. I have a bunch more info. I just killed two hogs with it Tuesday night. I will P.M. You my number.
Thanks
