Been to the boundary waters twice. Outside Ely, Mn. Looks alot like that. I would suggest the trip if you're able...it is awesome! It's a fairly cheap trip (cost wise)...but the drive is hard! Maybe it was harder on me cause we did it straight thru rotating drivers. 2nd trip was in a 15 passenger van (there were 7 of us)...but that was the most unconfortable 40 hours(20 up and 20 back) of my life! We caught pike, smallies, walleye and largemouth.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
