NO!!!!! Those things were filthy. The Seabord Coastline Railroad had a big switch yard close to town. Some old guys that worked it told me that a lot of grain fell from the grain cars in the process of switching which helped to produce a healthy pigeon and dove population in town. I do remember some kids going around the streets below us with shopping carts picking them up.
