I have been 2 times to Idaho chasing the big cats. Not sure why the popular disinterest on here for that type of hunt. I did not get to kill one, but enjoyed the hunt experience all the same. When I was younger, and before I got married, I wanted to take an adventurous hunt that would be a way to see some of the most remote wilderness in the Lower 48. I chose the lion hunt with dogs because I was raised hunting rabbits, squirrels, and deer with dogs in South Ms. It was an excellent choice for seeing the country up there, and I don't regret my decision at all. I was just telling my wife earlier today that I would love to save the money and try it again. By the way, Mt Lion tenderloin was once considered a delicacy to the mt men out west. It supposed to be some fine eating.
