I've never had fixed blade broadheads fly exactly like field points. They're normally close but I still always have some adjusting to do. Now with mechanicals it's different, they shoot identical to my field points. No matter what broadheads im using I will still always shoot a few practice heads just to be sure. If you're shooting fixed blade heads you probably will have to make some minor adjustments when sighting in. And don't be one of those guys who shoots field points all summer, and has his bow dialed in with them, then a few days before season shoot a practice fixed blade head and your arrow is 2" high and 2" left and think that's close enough!! At 30 and 40 you could miss the deer or even worse, wound one. There's plenty out there like that! And when you are sighting in your bow, always follow the arrow. If you're shooting left, adjust your sights to the left, or if you're shooting low move your sights low. Shoot straight and good luck this fall.
